Our featured artists share in common their use of direct
visual language to truthfully and accurately portray nature and contemporary
life through the mediums of oils, acrylics, drawings, watercolor and
photography. We are invited to observe the realistic and natural representation
of people and places evoking a feeling of that which is familiar in ordinary
life. This honest and visible reality is in some instances modified by the use
of color and the optical effects of light to create a sense of mystery,
stillness or seclusion.

now living in California draws and paints serious and magnificent still life

canvas. Generally autobiographical, her paintings are much like a
contemporary realist with the soul of an old master.

is an extraordinary realist painter of small and salient ordinary scenes of
any street USA. His elegant interiors of museums across the country add to his
current body of work. The paintings describe a time of the day, state of
mind, solitude, quietness and mystery.

works might be described as “moving realism”. Incorporating realistic
view in oil on panel, Greenberg evokes an entirely different feeling
from what might be defined as old master painting. His new oils give
an active take on our five senses.

is a master at fooling the eye. This body of work is dubbed ‘drop
dead realism’. It is truly a superb approach to serious realism in
clay. In no way would anyone think anything but how totally
authentic it looks from both the surface and elements used to
complete an idea. Be fooled and enjoy glorious results.
