Feast for the Eyes - Invitational Group Show

A collection of works about food and celebration, the eclectic, dynamic and yet subtle elements of A Feast for the Eyes demonstrate the imaginative ability and versatility of the participating artists in any artistic medium. No matter where one might find food for a subject this exhibition engenders ideas and examines inventive visions.

Surprisingly tasty and invigorating or humorous and comical, the art works are stimulating and entertaining. In many cases by fooling the eye, the viewer is artistically confronted with a completely different idea or suggestion about food. Unlike a commercial or advertisement, some artists dig deep into the subconscious and others make perceptible observations, skillfully composed to sway the delicacies of perhaps a fruit, salad, pasta, appetizer, bread, meat, fish, soup, wine or the like.

This season share with us happiness and the enjoyment of this special show. Confronted with surprisingly creative interpretations of a feast or an extensive meal, there is sheer pleasure in the fruits of labor of the listed artists, including a butcher, baker and chef. Bon Appétit.
