Trout Fishing in America - May 8 - June 1, 2002

Paying artistic homage to trout season, Solomon Dubnick Gallery presents Trout Fishing in America—the show formerly known as “Gone Fishin’.”  The work in this exhibition reflects a love of the sport, each piece made by artists who also carry valid fishing licenses.  Ranging from landscapes to portraits of the prized catch, the show combines the fine arts with that of fishing, exciting both the sport and gallery enthusiast.

This is the seventh fishing exhibit curated by D. Oldham.  “Trout Fishing in America” features artists who have participated in the “Gone Fishin’” shows each year as well as first time exhibitors from all around the world.
