The intensely colored
canvases of Sheldon Greenberg are exploding with figures in
motion. His expressive
brushstrokes evoke pleasure and humor, flirting with the notion of Pop
Art. Often the edges of his
subjects are blurred, with both the effect of describing movement and
flattened space.
By
referencing Pop through realism, his artworks operate on a more
psychological level, with the ability for multifaceted interpretations.
